The disc throwing sport is based on the principle of throwing the disc as far as possible. The aim is to throw the sports equipment at the furthest distance as in other throwing sports.
The disc throwing area is circular and is referred to as the discard circle. The circle is 2.5 meters in diameter. This circle is made of iron, steel or a suitable material but is located slightly higher than the ground level.
